		<description>Journal club was cancelled today - attending in the tropics vacationing.  So I mentioned the above article re: nuclear imaging to the cardiology fellows.  They did not realize that this was already law - one knew it was proposed.  Got some interesting responses - from, &quot;well forget about the nuclear certification&quot;, to &quot;it only affects Medicare and Medi-cal patients&quot;.
Glad I am not in private practice and will not need to worry about self referral infractions.  (I order nuc studies, then am actually the one giving the persantine or supervising the ETT, but don&#039;t do the interpretation or bill for my services).</description>
